It’s Christmas time! My favorite time of the year. What is it about this holiday that puts a smile on every face???
I personally know two little boys and why they have smiles on their faces…Snow and Santa!
How many times have you waited and waited in long lines with your kids to see Santa? In my experience the wait has never been too much fun. We have a mall close to us that has made the wait for Santa fun for all! They have ‘The Polar Express’ theme. The highlight of the line is the falling snow. It’s very whimsical with the music and soft lighting. Matthew was in awe. He kept trying to catch the falling snow. He just couldn’t grasp them.
The smiles on their faces are one in a million. The excitement of new things and the appreciation of them shows it all in my child’s eyes.

Towards the end we look over and Pierce just decided it was his turn at the Big Man. We were shocked. He had no fear, he decided he would just walk over and have a conversation with Santa. No one knows but Santa of what mumblings came from Pierce’s mouth, but it was serious stuff. 
I’m not Catholic, but I do have some friends that are. I understand that this picture is a serious confession! Is Pierce confessing to tantalizing Chica, or waking up Matthew on purpose, or touching Uncle Rob’s computer, or sifting through big brother’s priceless valuables, OR making mommy chase him through a store??? Only Santa knows. Is Pierce on the naughty list this year? Nah… How could an angelic face like his be on any naughty list?
Granny Margie booted Pierce out of the way and it was her turn on Santa’s lap. Looks like Granny could be on the naughty list this year!
She must have kissed and made up. Way to be a “smooth talker” granny!
